Purpose of the job: Within this role you will continuously develop your procurement skills, experiences and enhance your understanding of the company's procurement policies and procedures. Take full ownership of end-to-end sourcing activities to support the business objectives. Obtain IT goods, services and labours providing the best value for quality and commercial in compliance with the Global Procurement Guide. Establish and maintain the right work relationship with suppliers and negotiating the contracts to ensure the best possible contract terms and conditions for the organisation.
Key accountabilities:
- Procurement Management: Ensure category (sub-categories) strategy is aligned and deployed alongside the procurement policy and procedures.
- Initiate, execute and manage both simple and complex RFx.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve the best possible commercial outcome.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and performance standards.
- Drive supplier performance improvement in key areas of cost, delivery, quality, and ideation.
- Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential disruption in the supply chain.
- Manage supplier spend, supplier contract, supplier performance, and relationship.
- Support internal/external audit compliance.
- Escalate issues to procurement Head of Group if support needed.
- Weekly progress report on key procurement projects.
- Ad hoc procurement related tasks assigned.
Qualifications & experience:
- Essential - Significant experience in procurement, supply chain management, and/or IT industry.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Application.
- Familiar with ERP system e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics etc.
- Minimum CIPS Level 4 Diploma Certificate held or willing to study to be qualified.
