We are currently working with a consultancy who are looking to bring in Transport Planners from TP – Associate level. As part of their national transport planning and multidisciplinary teams—including civil engineering, landscape planning and design, and water and environmental management—we play a key role in shaping the built environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Transport Planner with us, your day-to-day work will include:
- Preparing technical reports such as Access Appraisals, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and WCHARs, with support from colleagues.
- Conducting junction capacity modelling and CAD design work.
- Managing projects and assisting with financial aspects, including fee proposals and invoicing, with guidance from colleagues.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Engaging with stakeholders, external project teams, and clients.
- Representing at meetings, public consultations, and exhibitions.
- Undertaking site visits.
- Managing your own workload with support from the team.
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience working on developments across sectors such as residential, commercial, and education.
- A working knowledge of traffic modelling software (junction & strategic).
- An understanding of strategic development sites and the plan-making process.
- Experience liaising with stakeholders.
- A full UK driving license.
- The Right to Work in the UK (Unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future).
