We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Hydrologist / Flood Risk Engineer working for an environmental consultant in Yorkshire, South West England, or Central Belt Scotland. You will be working on a number of schemes across the residential, energy, renewable, and EA sectors. The successful candidate will have an autonomous approach to their project work and have worked on surface water drainage, surface water management plans, flood risk assessments, and hydraulic modelling. You will have conducted reports for varying clients and have some site visits and client meeting experience.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Hydrology qualification
  • 5 years minimum experience from a UK consultancy
  • Experience with surface water drainage SUDS, surface water management plans, flood risk assessments, and hydraulic modelling
  • Software – HEC RAS, Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow, GIS packages
  • Sound knowledge of UK legislations
  • Full driving licence
  • MSc in Hydrology
  • Worked on EIA chapters
