Access Talent Group are recruiting for a well-established, award-winning multi-disciplinary design consultancy. They are seeking a talented and driven Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Worcester. Responsibilities
As a senior member of the Civil Engineering team, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure, highways, drainage (including SuDS), and external works across all project phases—from concept through to construction.
- Take an active role in technical approvals, working with planning and highway/drainage authorities.
- Contribute to the development of client relationships, providing practical, creative solutions and building trust through technical excellence and clear communication.
- Attend site inspections and meetings, responding to design changes and ensuring efficient implementation.
- Support internal collaboration across disciplines while helping to deliver on sustainability goals, including the company’s target to reach Net Zero by 2026.
Experience and Qualifications
- Incorporated or Chartered Engineer (ICE), or very near achieving this.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes.
- Demonstrable experience delivering infrastructure schemes across drainage, highways, and external works.
- Strong experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; confident dealing with clients and authorities.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in sustainable infrastructure and design innovation.
- Established or developing client-facing skills, with the ability to contribute to business development.
- This role will require a full UK driving Licence.
