The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
A Senior or Principal grade Ornithologist is required to join an award-winning ecology team. This role can be based UK wide with remote working options available. You will join a supportive and collaborative team to deliver a range of projects including renewables and wind farm developments.
You will have previous experience delivering similar projects, excellent bird ID skills and be able to demonstrate a range of ornithology survey techniques, including vantage points, black grouse, breeding birds, and raptors. You will play a key part in delivering ornithological impact assessments and writing EIA chapters for ornithology.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- A degree in Ecology, Biological Science or similar and CIEEM membership
- Previous Ornithology experience designing and delivering bird survey programmes
- Experience with other species would be advantageous (e.g., Bats, habitats, terrestrial mammals)
- Full UK drivers licence
