Access Talent group are currently recruiting for an employee-owned Tier one consultant. This consultancy is looking for a Senior or Principal Process Engineer within their Water treatment team to service a number of frameworks locally and nationally. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Senior or Principal Process Engineer. They have been framework technical consultants for Yorkshire Water for the last 20 years and service a number of other frameworks which you will have the ability to work on. Our client has a global reach in the water business and services clients from around the world. They are open to seeing candidates from all backgrounds but must have some experience in water.
You will be working on a mixture of clean and waste treatment sites, so please apply if you have experience in either or both. You will be part of a central hub process team who are mostly based in Leeds, so will expect one day a week to be part of the team in Leeds. They have offices surrounding this location, so you will be able to work in another office if required.
You will support the lead Engineer in the growth of our water business through executing projects with internal and external clients in the UK, but also globally as part of the wider Water business. As a Senior or Principal Process Engineer, your role will involve process audits, investigations, feasibility studies, outline and detailed design of Clean water treatment works and associated systems.
You will enjoy developing client briefs into executable projects, building costed proposals, presenting ideas and concepts to clients, and demonstrating technical ability and competence. This is an opportunity to take an active role in client meetings, facilitate and take an active part in Hazop studies, and present project outputs and proposals to clients. This role will include the provision of technical support, guidance, and development of junior members of the team.

Requirements:- Chartered or near chartered with a professional body.
- Knowledge of water chemistry.
- Good knowledge of drinking water treatment processes.
- Skills in process design (Mass balances, P&ID’s).
- Good knowledge of water treatment hydraulics.
- Numerate, flexible in your approach and able to think laterally to solve problems.
