Their UK maritime division is thriving, with a strong pipeline of high-profile port and coastal infrastructure projects. We’re currently looking for an experienced Maritime Engineer with 5+ years of relevant industry experience to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on significant maritime, port, and harbour design projects as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You’ll contribute to the technical design and delivery of major schemes, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and play a key role in mentoring junior engineers. The role offers flexibility, with hybrid working arrangements that include two days per week in one of their UK offices: Manchester, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Belfast, or Southampton.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil or maritime engineering, ideally with exposure to port, harbour, or coastal infrastructure
- Strong design skills and understanding of relevant codes and standards
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in engineering design software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools)
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; chartered or working toward chartership preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and disciplines
