Access Talent Group is recruiting for a Medium sized multidisciplinary Consultancy in Bristol. Our client is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in detailed Drainage and highways Design.
Working Hours
BST: 8:00 β 18:00 (Mon/Thurs) 8:00 β 16:00 (Fri)
Responsibilities & Expectations
This role requires an experienced Senior Engineer close to chartership who can hit the ground running on a multitude of projects. The selected candidate will deliver design work and serve as the lead engineer for the Civils Team in Bristol. Projects will span residential, education, healthcare, and high rise residential developments. Successful completion of deadlines, budgets and timeframes to meet client needs is essential. Experience in client engagement and managing junior staff is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
Key Qualifications
- 6 yearsβ experience as a Civil Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong experience in Drainage and Highway design (S278, S38, S104, S106)
- Experience with Flood risk Assessments, Drainage Design and Drainage Strategy
- Experience with earthworks and external level design
- Knowledge of planning, design, and procurement of projects
- Experienced using Micro drainage / Causeway flow, Auto CAD, Civils 3D or PDS
- Educated to BSc Degree or higher
- Some project management experience
- Proven UK experience within a Civil Engineering consultancy
- Approaching or holding CEng (MICE or CIWEM) status
