A highly respected architectural practice based in Guildford is looking to appoint a Senior Designer or Senior Architect to help deliver a range of large‑scale residential developments. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established firm with a strong reputation for high‑quality design and long‑term partnerships with leading UK housebuilders.
The practice has a diverse portfolio of residential and mixed‑use projects and is known for its collaborative working culture, attention to detail, and ability to deliver projects that positively shape communities. They offer a creative and professional environment where individuals are encouraged to develop, contribute ideas, and take ownership of their work.
Working closely with an Associate, the successful candidate will play a key role in running projects and supporting a small, experienced team. You’ll be involved from early design through to delivery, helping to ensure the smooth coordination of complex, large‑scale schemes.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Around 5+ years’ experience, ideally focused on the delivery of large‑scale residential projects
- Experience working with major housebuilders or on multi‑unit housing schemes
- The ability to run projects confidently and collaborate effectively with clients and consultants
- A proactive, organised, and approachable attitude
The studio operates a hybrid working model, typically 3–4 days a week in their Guildford office, with flexibility to work from home as needed.
In return, you’ll receive:
- A competitive salary and benefits package
- Enhanced holidays and private healthcare
- Regular social events and team trips
- A genuinely friendly, supportive office culture
- The chance to make the role your own within a growing architectural team
This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable, motivated individual looking to take the next step in their career with a practice that’s both established and forward‑thinking.
