ATG are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee airport upgrade projects in County Mayo.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that upgrades are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of airport upgrade projects, including terminal improvements, runway maintenance, navigation systems, and passenger facilities.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, architects, regulatory authorities, and airport stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports on project status, financials, and key milestones to senior management.
- Ensure procurement and contract management processes are followed for all contractors and suppliers.
- Promote sustainability and environmental compliance in all project activities.
- Lead project teams, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
- Ensure stakeholder engagement, including airlines, local authorities, and the community.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in aviation or transportation.
- Strong knowledge of airport operations, safety standards, and aviation regulations.
- Experience with budgeting, risk management, and contract administration.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
