The Role

The Mechanical Engineer will join the building services design team, supporting the delivery of projects across healthcare, commercial, education, and residential sectors. You’ll contribute to sustainable design solutions, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and play a key role in the delivery of projects that prioritise energy efficiency and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake energy, sustainability, and performance assessments including load calculations and building simulation modelling.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure projects meet technical and sustainability targets.
  • Assist in the development of decarbonisation and retrofit solutions for existing buildings.

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years’ experience in mechanical building services design.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, public health, and renewable energy systems.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or MagiCAD.
  • Passionate about sustainability, low-energy design, and carbon reduction strategies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
