About Us

We are a well-established M&E building services company established for 70 years who specialise in new build and refurbishment projects. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Warrington.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to 2 years of experience in quantity surveying within the buildings, mechanical, or electrical sectors. The role will be predominantly office-based with site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in cost estimation, budgeting, and tendering processes.
  • Conducting site visits to assess work progress and valuations.
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of financial reports.
  • Assisting with procurement and contract administration.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Providing support in the management of project costs and variations.
  • Learning and developing skills under the guidance of the Managing Quantity Surveyor.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field (buildings, mechanical, or electrical).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a supportive environment.
