Graduate Civil Engineer

We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Design firm, this is a chance for someone who has just finished university to kick start their career within the Civils industry.

Candidate Profile:

1. Graduate with a degree in civil/structural engineering
2. UK Passport and driving license
3. Some experience in the use of software including Microsoft Excel and Word and Autodesk AutoCAD/Revit
4. Enthusiasm for building/infrastructure design
5. Passion for intelligent design in building refurbishment/reuse
6. Interest in innovation in construction
7. Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge
8. Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required

Responsibilities:

1. Working within a multidisciplinary team on project delivery
2. Development of civil engineering designs to applicable standards
3. Working up drawings, preparation of design details and specifications
4. Undertaking inspections and surveys on site, preparing reports with conclusions and recommendations
5. Contributing to the use of digital technology to improve processes and deliver efficiently
