Access have partnered with a British SME Engineering consultancy that specialise in Geotechnical Engineering. Our client’s projects are centred around infrastructure, tall buildings and urban development in the UK, but our client also has exciting international projects for their team to sink their teeth into. Our client has a team of less than 50, but has doubled the number of engineers since 2021 due to continued success during a period that their competitors struggled.

The ideal candidate will come in and hit the ground running, getting involved in design and analysis tasks from day one. You will be expected to take advantage of the dozens of years of experience available in the leadership team to learn and develop as a Geotechnical Engineer. In this role, you will be thrown straight into the deep end, working on high profile city developments in the UK, Australia, the Middle East, United States and Central/Southern Europe where you will be designing shallow foundations, piles, slopes, retaining walls and other typical Geotechnical assets.

To qualify for this role candidates must have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or similar
  • At least 2-5 years’ experience in Geotechnical Design
  • Good interpretive reporting skills
  • The ability to work in Central London
  • The right to live and work in the UK
