A well-established marine contractor is seeking experienced Fabricators to support a major vessel refit programme in the South West of England throughout 2025. This long-term project involves working in confined spaces and submarine environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled trade professionals from marine, ship repair, or heavy engineering backgrounds to secure stable, long-term work on a nationally significant defence contract.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or completed Apprenticeship in Fabrications
- Strong understanding of welding codes and ability to interpret technical drawings
- Experience in marine, defence, or heavy industrial sectors
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance, BPSS, and DBS
- Willing to work or relocate to South West England (accommodation not provided)
- Able to commit to at least 50 hours per week
- Capable of passing full compliance, right-to-work, and reference checks

- Onsite - test is fully paid (approximately 3–4 days)
- On-site work will follow a successful test bay assessment
- Previous candidates have relocated from across the UK (e.g., Newcastle, North Wales, Edinburgh)
