Role Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical services including heating, cooling, ventilation, hot/cold water systems, and above-ground drainage.
  • Develop concept, feasibility, and detailed design proposals, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
  • Perform thermal modelling and energy calculations using IES or TAS.
  • Work with AutoCAD 2D and develop Revit skills.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design teams.
  • Ensure compliance with UK design legislation and industry standards.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ UK-based mechanical services design experience.
  • Proficiency in IES or TAS software.
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and guidance.
  • HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (Degree preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Full UK driver’s licence and own vehicle (travel to project sites required).
