Role Responsibilities
- Design mechanical services including heating, cooling, ventilation, hot/cold water systems, and above-ground drainage.
- Develop concept, feasibility, and detailed design proposals, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
- Perform thermal modelling and energy calculations using IES or TAS.
- Work with AutoCAD 2D and develop Revit skills.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design teams.
- Ensure compliance with UK design legislation and industry standards.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ UK-based mechanical services design experience.
- Proficiency in IES or TAS software.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and guidance.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (Degree preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Full UK driver’s licence and own vehicle (travel to project sites required).
