As part of our consultancy, you’ll be working on a wide variety of projects, ranging from refurbishments to fit-outs, across the education and retail sectors. Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate cost advice, cost planning, and budgeting for projects within the education and retail sectors.
  • Manage cost estimates, procurement strategies, and contract administration.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Review and evaluate tender submissions, and provide cost advice during contract negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed cost reports and records.
  • Monitor project progress and report on cost implications.
  • Assist with the preparation of final accounts and ensure proper documentation.

Ideal Candidate

  • Background in refurbishment or fit-out projects, ideally within the education or retail sectors.
  • Previous experience working as a Cost Consultant or Quantity Surveyor in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimating, procurement, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and contractors.
  • A driven, proactive approach with an interest in personal development and career progression.
