An award-winning and market-leading global multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to hire an Associate Ecologist to work in their Surrey office. You will join a business at the forefront of the implementation of Biodiversity Net Gain to work on nationally important infrastructure projects. You will join an established and supportive national team to lead and mentor a regional office.
You will be an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Ecologist with previous experience leading and managing projects and people. You will also have a strong knowledge of Habitat Regulation Assessments, UKHab classification and the Natural England Biodiversity Metric. As part of your role you will manage nationally significant projects and take the lead on delivering and supporting the wider team.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Have CIEEM membership, or equivalent and chartership
- A degree in Ecology, or similar related subject
- Strong project and people management skills
- A full UK Driving License.
