We are seeking an Apprentice to undertake business administration duties to support a team of over 50 recruitment consultants and the management team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer the phones and take messages
  • Process timesheets
  • Book staff reviews in the diary and process completed forms
  • Ensure staff HR files are kept up to date (sickness, holiday etc).
  • Set up IT and phones for new starters as well as print off starter forms. Sending starter forms to the accountant.
  • Create invoices from placements forms & chase for payment if not paid on time.
  • Keep the billing spreadsheets up to date
  • Creating E-shots for marketing purposes
  • Check and chase timesheets for temps and contractors
  • Add clients & candidates to the database
  • Create KPI reports for the business.
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies
  • Any other administrative duties as required, as part of continued development

Job Details

  • 40 hours per week – flexible across Monday – Friday
  • Based in Ocean Village Southampton
  • 35 minutes’ walk from Southampton Central Station (or 15 minutes on a bus)
  • 20 minutes’ walk from Woolston Station (or 5 minutes on a bus)
