About The Role
You will make English relevant to our young people through inclusive lesson planning and delivery. You will mark and assess learner work, setting high expectations and motivating them to reach their best potential. You will understand methods and best practice in reviewing and evaluating teaching & learning, and behaviour management strategies.
About You
Role model, exceptional educational experience, up-to-date knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum, and experience with exam board requirements. Hold GCSE English and English GCSEs at Grade 5 (or equivalent) or above, with a degree in a related subject. A teaching qualification is desirable; if not held, Access Sport will fund support to obtain one. A successful track record of delivering GCSE English is preferred, but this could be ideal for newly qualified teacher or English graduate.
