Company: Access SEN Education and Consultancy Ltd
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Specialist Teacher to deliver personalised learning to a range of young people across Greater Manchester.
This is not a traditional classroom-based teaching role.
You will work with individual learners in their homes and within the community, creating meaningful learning opportunities around their individual strengths, needs, interests and outcomes.
Depending on the learner, this could involve supporting a young person to develop communication and self-regulation, build independence, access their local community, develop resilience or prepare for their next stage of education.
You will be expected to think creatively about what learning looks like for each individual and recognise that progress can look very different for every learner.
Areas of learning may include:
- Communication and interaction
- Independence and life skills
- Self-regulation and emotional wellbeing
- Transition support into other education settings
- Community access and engagement
- Travel training and developing confidence in the community
Learning will be linked to each learner's personalised plan and intended outcomes, with a focus on making progress that is meaningful and measurable.
To be discussed at the Interview / Next stage β Competitive rate (dependent on experience)
