You will oversee revenue recognition and revenue reporting for the group, ensuring all figures are accurately processed and documented. In addition, you will take ownership of producing monthly management accounts, providing detailed insights into the financial performance of the business. You will play a significant role in the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating closely with other finance colleagues to ensure projections reflect business realities.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for specific balance sheet reconciliations, with particular emphasis on accrued and deferred income. Furthermore, you will provide business partnering support, assisting users throughout the organisation with their use of NetSuite and helping them to navigate financial systems effectively.

As part of your role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group’s revenue recognition processes, including the accurate processing and management of project revenue. You will collaborate closely with the wider business to ensure that the sales pipeline remains current and precise, utilising and maintaining Power BI reports in this process. You will produce accurate and timely management accounts packs each month, providing insightful commentary and analysis regarding the business’s financial performance. In addition, you will play a pivotal part in the budgeting and forecasting of revenue and gross profit.

Your duties will also include performing balance sheet reconciliations on all accounts associated with gross profit, particularly those relating to deferred and accrued income, utilising the NetSuite Advanced Revenue functionality. Further responsibilities involve posting project cost journals and managing related accruals and prepayments, alongside reconciling payroll and bonus accruals. You will also work in partnership with Accounts Receivable to ensure that administrative fees and rechargeable expenses are billed and reported correctly. You will provide NetSuite support to the business, with a specific focus on assisting NetSuite project managers to ensure that all projects are established correctly from the outset. Business partnering is a key aspect of your role, offering support to Client and Practice Leads across the organisation. You will also contribute to the audit process by preparing audit schedules and responding promptly to audit queries as they arise.
