The Role

Corporate Communications - Technology, AI, Data & Space

You will be the primary driver of client programmes across a portfolio of global corporate, technology-focused clients, including government, private sector and industry institutions. You will major on international strategic communications advising clients on reputational challenges and turning complex commercial, policy and regulatory issues into a compelling narrative for business and technology audiences. You will work closely with the team to deliver excellent client service, with support from the Director of Communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client & account lead
    • Act as client lead on a portfolio of international accounts.
    • Build and maintain good client relationships.
    • Provide trusted strategic counsel and communications plans based on the target audience insight and data.
    • Own the delivery of agreed programmes and workstreams, ensuring work is on brief, on time and on budget.
    • Prepare documents for regular client meetings and quarterly/annual planning sessions.
  • Team player
    • Embed into the team and support junior colleagues, fostering an inclusive, supportive and client-centric team culture.
    • Build relationships across the business to showcase our comms capabilities and uncover opportunities to support with communications across other practices.
    • Help shape our future comms work.
  • International media strategy & execution
    • Lead insight on the international news agenda and competitive landscape to spot reactive opportunities and risks for clients.
    • Maintain strong relationships with Tier‐1 international business and technology media.
    • Lead the execution of international communications strategies for corporate and executive communications.
    • Proactively drive day‐to‐day press office activity: story mining, tailored pitching, drafting thought leadership op-eds and briefing documents.
  • Measurement & commercial
    • Manage client accounts to ensure our performance meets agreed KPIs and project scope.
    • Ensure accurate time management across your accounts.
    • Lead on new business proposals and support Director of Communications on pitches.

What you’ll need

  • 7-10 years' experience in corporate communications, PR or strategic communications, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Proven track record leading or heavily supporting strategic communications and media relations programmes, ideally with international scope.
  • Experience with technology, space, data, AI, digital infrastructure, innovation, or related sectors.
  • Experience supporting government, public‐sector or institutional clients is a strong plus.
