Access North is on the lookout for an apprentice Fall Protection Technician to join our team! We’re a well-established, family-run business specialising in height safety and accessing hard-to-reach places. We’re growing fast and building out our fall protection team — and we want motivated people to grow with us.
We’re a friendly, tight crew who work hard, support each other, and take pride in doing things properly. If you want to learn from experienced techs and be part of a team that genuinely has your back, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing:
- Installing, maintaining and inspecting fall-protection systems (safety lines, fixed ladders, handrails, anchors, walkways, etc.)
- Working alongside experienced technicians on real sites, learning the trade hands-on
- Getting involved in access & rigging work
- Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications
- Travelling to different client sites (some working away will be needed)
- Learning how to stay safe at height and follow safety rules properly
- Completing a structured training programme leading to your NVQ Level 3 Fall Protection qualification
