What will you do:
- Provide in-home, high quality client centered care
- Complete comprehensive client assessments to develop collaborative, holistic care planning
- Work to the full scope of practice as outlined by the CNO Professional Standards and AHS policies and procedures
- Uphold the mission, vision and values of AHS
- Adhere to infection, prevention & control measures and nursing best practice standards
- Participate in ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Report, consult and collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary health care team
- Participate in the on-call nursing rotation
What will you need:
- Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with CNO
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
- Vehicle required with valid driver’s license
- Car insurance with a liability of $2 million
- Valid CPR Step 2
- TB Test (Completed within the last 2 years)
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check (less than 3 months old)
- Excellent assessment, documentation, verbal, and communication skills
- Be able to work overnight every Friday from 23:00 to 07:00
The skills and qualities we look for:
- 1 year community nursing experience preferred but not essential
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Bilingualism considered an asset
- Someone comfortable with palliative pediatric clients
