At Northwood Southport & Ormskirk, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Apprentice to join our friendly and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the property industry while gaining valuable workplace experience and professional qualifications.
Working alongside our experienced Sales team, you will learn all aspects of residential estate agency, customer service and sales administration within a busy, fast-paced office environment.
The Role
As a Sales Apprentice, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our sales department while developing the skills needed for a successful career in estate agency. No previous property experience is required—we’re looking for the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
To apply you need:

- Welcome customers to the office and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries from buyers, sellers and solicitors.
- Assist with arranging property valuations and viewings.
- Accompany experienced colleagues on property viewings (and conduct viewings independently once fully trained).
- Obtain viewing feedback from buyers and communicate this to property owners.
- Maintain accurate property records and update our property management systems.
- Prepare sales documentation and marketing information.
- Assist with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and identification checks.
- Support the progression of property sales from offer agreed through to completion.
- Assist with filing, scanning and maintaining electronic records.
- Learn about property legislation, compliance and industry best practice.
- Provide excellent customer service to buyers, sellers and business partners.
