We’re looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of fibre build projects in a fast-paced, growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and helping shape the way projects are delivered as the company continues to scale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of fibre build projects, including FTTH/FTTP network deployments, across multiple live workstreams.
  • Oversee civils, cabling, splicing, testing, and installation activities to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, designers, surveyors, and internal stakeholders to ensure aligned delivery.
  • Develop and maintain practical project plans, delivery schedules, milestone tracking, and site progress updates.
  • Monitor daily and weekly progress, take corrective action where required, and ensure delivery remains on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, constraints, scope changes, and project variations in real time.
  • Act as the key point of contact for operational delivery matters with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support buildability discussions with design and engineering teams to help achieve efficient, practical delivery.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of handover packs, as-built records, and supporting project documentation.
  • Maintain strong health & safety compliance across all active sites.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and field-based delivery teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Good commercial awareness, including budget tracking and cost control.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in environments where structure is still evolving.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in a fibre startup, scale-up, or rapidly growing infrastructure business.
  • Familiarity with PIA processes and UK fibre rollout standards.
  • Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, APM).
  • Experience contributing to or building delivery systems and workflows.
  • Knowledge of GIS, design coordination, or network planning processes.
