What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of our social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Create and schedule standout content showcasing student life, alumni success, and campus events
  • Collaborate with students, staff, and marketing teams to bring authentic stories to life
  • Manage community engagement—responding to DMs, comments, and building relationships with followers
  • Recruit and train Student Content Ambassadors to capture life on the ground
  • Report on performance using tools like Hootsuite, Later, or Hubspot
  • Stay on top of social trends and youth culture, experimenting with new formats and ideas

What You Bring

  • 2+ years experience managing multi-channel social media for a brand or organisation
  • A deep understanding of the major platforms—especially TikTok and Instagram
  • A track record of creating engaging, on-brand campaigns that drive results
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and visual storytelling skills
  • Confidence using analytics and insights to adapt and improve strategy
  • Familiarity with paid social (Meta, TikTok Ads) and scheduling/reporting tools
  • Passion for working in a student-led, youth-focused, creative environment
  • Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools? That’s a bonus
  • Experience in education or creative industries? Even better
