Programme Leader Games and Creative Industries
Location: London | Hours: 37.5 per week | Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time | Salary: £30,750 – £35,750 per annum | Reporting to: Assistant Head of Curriculum
Access Creative College is the UK’s largest independent training provider for 16-18s in the creative industries. We deliver FE, Higher Education, and Apprenticeships across 32 campuses nationwide and support learners across a range of creative pathways. We are looking for a passionate educator to lead and inspire the next generation of creative talent within our London Curriculum Team.
What you’ll do
- Support the Assistant Head with quality functions, such as walkthroughs and internal verification (IV).
- Plan and deliver effective, well-structured course progress sessions.
- Support individual students through impactful 1:1 progress reviews to build knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- Deliver inspiring lessons with a proportional teaching caseload (average 14 hours per week).
- Carry out fair and timely assessment in line with awarding body requirements.
- Maintain accurate course documentation and learner records in line with quality assurance procedures.
- Lead on meaningful enrichment and cross-curricular activities as directed by the Assistant Head.
- Collaborate with the curriculum pathway team to deliver strong outcomes, including enrichment and cross-curricular activities.
- Work closely with the ALS team to support students with SEND or those at risk.
- Ensure effective and consistent parental engagement and timely management of student reporting and parent meetings.
- Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and internal quality processes.
