I am recruiting for an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Specialist (OCI) to work 3 days in either Blackpool or Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, 2 days remote. The role falls inside IR35 so you will have to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract. You must have worked within central government recently.

Strong OCI experience at a senior level is the critical requirement. You will have strong Oracle Database technologies experience including RAC, Dataguard, RMAN Backup and Recovery. Public Cloud Technologies (particularly OCI and AWS) is also essential.

You will be able to write Infrastructure as Code and debug Terraform and Ansible. You will be comfortable managing and maintaining Security procedures including implementing network segregation in a public cloud environment (preferably AWS), incorporating transport encryption to protect data in transit (preferably Oracle) and have an understanding of implementation of database encryption options (preferably Oracle).

You will be able to conduct Migration Testing (preferably through Oracle and AWS) and implement secure authentication with OIDC for GitLab runners. If this is of interest and you match the above skill set please apply ASAP.
