Requirements

  • We must have worked in a lead role.
  • We must have strong Python and Django experience.
  • We must have proven system design capability end to end.
  • We must have experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
  • We must have system design and architecture capability.
  • We must be backend-focused with full-stack awareness.
  • We must have been involved with multiple user journeys.
  • We must have strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • We must be able to contribute to secure, structured environments.

Responsibilities

  • We will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
  • We will take ownership of development and live service performance.
  • We will work as backend-focused developers with full-stack awareness.
  • We will collaborate within agile, multidisciplinary teams.
  • We will support multiple user journeys and end-to‑end system design.
  • We will work on‑site 2 days per week in one of our UK locations: London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, or the North East.

We are recruiting multiple Lead Python/Django Developers for a contract role that sits inside IR35, so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the assignment. The role is based 2 days per week in one of our offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, or the North East. We are looking for strong technical leaders who can work in secure, structured environments and contribute to live service performance and delivery.
