I am recruiting for a Lead Cloud Engineer to work on a hybrid basis - 2 days in London, 3 days remote. The role falls inside IR35 so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

You will have overall responsibility for the design, delivery and optimisation of self‑service cloud infrastructure and tooling to ensure that our cloud applications and services are secure, high performing and sustainable, and the delivery of a high quality user experience for software engineers, suppliers and other users needing access to cloud infrastructure.

You will also be responsible for continued development and maintenance of the multi‑cloud platform (AWS and Google), recognised as a robust and mature cloud platform within the public sector, as well as automating processes to improve efficiency.

You will work with other senior members of the team responsible for enterprise architecture to set and evolve cloud engineering target architecture and provide oversight and assurance that the current architecture is implemented as per the client’s development, security and cloud standard.
