I am recruiting for an experienced Automation Tester to work remotely with occasional travel for meetings. This role falls inside IR35 so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

Candidates must have recent Central Government experience.

  • Strong experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks for UI, API, and end to end testing.
  • Proficient with Playwright and/or Cypress for E2E test automation.
  • Hands on experience testing services built with Kotlin and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of API testing, including calls to legacy systems and modern integration services.
  • Experience with integration resilience testing (handling failures, timeouts, and degraded upstream dependencies).
  • Familiar with contract testing (e.g., PACT).
  • Experience working in environments with multiple APIs and complex system interactions.
