About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Care Coordinator to join our regional team. In this fast‑paced role, you’ll be the vital link between our clients and Support Workers—ensuring high‑quality, timely care so people can live safely and independently at home.

Pay: $25.50 per hour + allowances (additional $0.45–$0.50 per hour based on criteria).

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and adjust daily client rosters to ensure safe, timely care
  • Match Support Workers to clients based on skills and availability
  • Communicate clearly with clients, whānau, and Support Workers
  • Respond to queries professionally and manage low‑level concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and follow privacy and organisational procedures
  • Escalate risks or safety issues to the Team Leader when required

About You

  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Excellent organisation, time‑management, and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Solutions‑focused approach with solid problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
  • Confident computer user (Microsoft Office and general PC skills)
  • Experience in scheduling, coordination, customer service, or health preferred
  • Knowledge of home‑care, disability, health, or aged‑care services is an advantage
