Find Exceptional Talent. Build Strong Pipelines. Lead Recruitment.

Are you an experienced recruitment or talent acquisition professional who knows how to find great people — and how to build the strategy and pipeline to keep finding them? We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Manager to lead the recruitment of our nationwide community of professional live-in carers.

You’ll take ownership of our recruitment strategy, proactively source and attract exceptional candidates, develop strong talent pipelines, lead recruitment activity across the team and ensure we have the right calibre of carers available to meet the needs of our growing business. Care-sector experience is not required. We’re looking for proven recruitment expertise, strong leadership, commercial awareness and, above all, someone who takes ownership and delivers results.

The Role

  • Taking ownership of Access Care’s carer recruitment and talent acquisition strategy.
  • Proactively sourcing and approaching candidates through direct recruitment, referrals, campaigns, partnerships, databases and new talent channels.
  • Building strong, sustainable candidate pipelines to meet current and anticipated business needs.
  • Leading and coordinating the Carer Talent & Onboarding team, setting clear priorities, expectations and recruitment targets.
  • Monitoring recruitment pipelines, conversion, registration levels and overall recruitment performance.
  • Using recruitment data and KPIs to identify opportunities and improve results.
  • Conducting structured interviews and making confident, evidence-based selection decisions.
  • Maintaining Access Care’s high recruitment standards while ensuring strong candidates progress efficiently.
  • Overseeing vetting, compliance and registration.
  • Owning and developing our Carer Registration Days as an effective recruitment and conversion channel.
  • Identifying new recruitment opportunities, partnerships, campaigns and initiatives.
  • Working closely with colleagues to anticipate the skills, experience, availability and geographical coverage required within our carer community.

About You

  • You’ll be someone who is a proven recruiter who knows how to find and attract exceptional people, not simply manage incoming applications.
  • Thinks strategically about talent pipelines, candidate attraction and future recruitment needs.
  • Is commercially aware, target-driven and comfortable being accountable for results.
  • Builds trust and rapport naturally and communicates exceptionally well.
  • Has the confidence to lead, set expectations and bring the best from others.
  • Makes sound, evidence-based decisions and maintains high standards.
  • Is organised, analytical and comfortable using recruitment data to drive performance.
  • Is proactive, resourceful and continually looking for new and better ways to recruit.
  • Combines pace and ambition with the warmth and professionalism expected at Access Care.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous care-sector experience is not required. We’re looking for an experienced recruitment or talent acquisition professional with a proven ability to source candidates, build strong pipelines and deliver against recruitment targets.
  • You’ll ideally bring proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or candidate sourcing.
  • A track record of proactively finding and attracting candidates beyond relying on inbound applications.
  • Experience developing and managing recruitment pipelines against clear targets.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment and candidate-selection skills.
  • Experience leading, coordinating or influencing others to achieve recruitment results.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence using recruitment data, conversion metrics and KPIs.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence using applicant tracking, CRM and Microsoft 365 systems.
  • The drive, initiative and judgement to take ownership of a recruitment function and continually improve it.

Full training in Access Care, live-in care, self-employed carer engagement and our registration standards will be provided.
