A trading house specializing in aerospace business with their headquarters in Japan is currently recruiting a Japanese speaking Sales & Marketing Manager or General Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are self-motivated, have a can-do attitude, and can work on their own initiative. Those with an engineering background are highly advantaged but solid experience within trading companies or manufacturing companies as a Sales/Business Development/Account Management can be considered.
Duties:
- Coordination to fix product specifications and product's test procedure
- Follow up deliveries of products
- Negotiations for pricing
- Creating and reviewing legal agreements
- Translation of technical documentation
- Business trips to suppliers in Europe
- Support with customer's visits to suppliers
- Attending defence industry exhibitions in the UK, Europe, USA, and Japan
Requirements:
- Business level Japanese and English language skills
- Solid working experience within B to B account management/sales
- Work experience at a Japanese trading house (preferable)
- Engineering background (preferable)
- UK Driving licence
Conditions:
- Salary – negotiable depending on the experience, for Sales Manager role £30k+, for GM role £50K+
- Location – Hertfordshire (currently working remotely from home)
