A trading house specializing in the aerospace industry with headquarters in Japan is currently recruiting a Japanese-speaking Sales & Marketing Manager or General Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for self-motivated individuals with a can-do attitude who can work independently. Candidates with an engineering background are highly advantageous, but those with solid experience in trading or manufacturing companies in roles such as sales, business development, or account management will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate to define product specifications and test procedures, follow up on product deliveries, negotiate pricing, etc.
  • Create and review legal agreements
  • Translate technical documentation
  • Travel for business to suppliers in Europe
  • Assist with customer visits to suppliers
  • Attend defense industry exhibitions in the UK, Europe, USA, and Japan

Requirements:

  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English
  • Solid experience in B2B account management or sales
  • Experience working at a Japanese trading house (preferable)
  • Engineering background (preferable)
  • UK driving license

Conditions:

  • Salary: Negotiable based on experience; £30k+ for Sales Manager, £50k+ for GM role
