We’re looking for a talented Technical Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces the chance to tackle complex challenges. - Performing technical reviews of financial statements for our largest clients including our banking clients
- Consulting with teams (audit, tax and other) on a variety of financial reporting and company law queries
- Training activities for the firm and for clients
- Writing articles and guidance FRC comment letters and consultations
What We’re Looking For
- Up to date technical knowledge of Auditing and Financial Reporting Standards.
- Departmental objectives and key performance indicators
- Awareness of the firm’s services and product offering
- ICAEW and /or ACCA exam structure, work experience and ethics training requirements
- Experience in IFRS and UK GAAP is essential and a basic knowledge of UK Company Law would be beneficial.
- Generates ideas for clients and for the firm, striving for improvements and efficiencies
- Is able to undertake internal projects, communicate findings and see through to completion
- Builds effective relationships internally across departments and externally
