This is a key frontline role within the Street Scene Service, responsible for household and commercial waste collection across the borough. If you’re physically fit, enjoy working outdoors, and want to make a difference in the community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: * Working as part of a team to collect household and commercial waste, mainly from wheeled bins and sacks. * Covering designated collection routes, ensuring timely and efficient waste removal. * Participating in additional Street Scene Service duties when required. * Providing excellent customer service when interacting with residents and businesses. * Following all health & safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements: * Physically fit – able to walk long distances and handle waste collection duties throughout the day. * Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues. * Ability to work in all weather conditions. * Good communication skills when dealing with the public.
