Production Welder – Sheet Metal Fabrication Leicestershire
Up to £15 per hour
Day Shift: 7am to 4pm- Monday to Thursday, 7am to 12pm- Friday.
The Company:
A well-established sheet metal fabrication company, operating from a 2,000 m² facility equipped with laser, press brakes, powder coating, and delivering one-off fabrications, prototypes, and production runs to a wide range of industries. The company is now looking for a Production Welder to join their growing team on day shift.
The Role:
- Welding mild steel components and assemblies to drawing specification
- Working from technical drawings and CAD models within a busy production environment
- Producing consistent, high-quality welds across one-off jobs, prototypes, and production runs
- Working closely with our laser cutting, press brake, and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a production welder in a sheet metal or fabrication environment
- Confident working with mild steel
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality of finish
- A reliable, team-focused attitude
