Accept Recruitment is currently recruiting Machine Operator / Flexi Counterbalance Driver for our client based in Loughborough, LE12. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of a skilled team in our Sustainable packaging warehouse, producing a variation of packaging for multiple sectors and brands.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Monday - Friday Day shift (FLEXIBILITY REQUIRED)
  • Pay Rate: £16.00
  • Job Type: Full-time

Primary responsibilities:

  • Operation of slitter/rewinder machinery, including specialist in-line label application process; including QC of work.
  • Receiving, picking and despatching goods; including QC and labelling.

Other responsibilities:

  • Operation of label application machine for pre-made bags, including QC of work and basic maintenance routines on machines.
  • Planning and managing production schedule of slitter and label application machines, around combined schedule with warehouse.
  • Detailed quality control checks on all production (incl. internal and outsourced production, pre-despatch samples of external production, spot checks on inbound goods).

  • Attention to detail and very high-quality standards.
  • Mechanical attitude with relevant machine experience.
  • Reasonable IT skills and planning skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, with a can-do attitude and able to take instructions.
  • Honesty, integrity and loyalty.
  • Team player as well as being able to self-manage and work in a remote environment.

Requirements:

  • Driving License Required
  • Forklift License (Flexi Counterbalance) Required
  • Machine operator experience - electronically controlled precision machinery or automated food (or pharma) packing machinery would be ideal. Used to operating in BRC or otherwise controlled environments would also be very beneficial.
