Accept Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of our leading clients in Leicester who have been established for over 50 years within the manufacturing food and dairy industry. Due to internal progression of their already established team and a mixture of growth of the business, our client is looking to recruit for an experienced Quality Manager for their site in Leicester.
As a Quality Manager you will mainly be responsible for:
- Use your technical knowledge and management experience to coach and train/develop teams within the business.
- Maintain and routinely check products to ensure that the products are packaged correctly with food safety and legislation.
- Recording information in order to demonstrate traceability.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Sampling and testing all raw materials / work in progress and finished goods.
- Continually reviewing and auditing documentation for all raw materials.
- HACCP Procedures and controls including: Checking, monitoring and implementing changes when required.
- Carry out internal audits and lead external auditing.
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in a similar role (3 + years).
- Experience managing teams.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Contract: Full-time permanent
