Junior Applications Engineer Location: Coventry Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 + benefits Hours: 37 per week – Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:30, Friday 8:00–13:00 The company Our client is a long-established Coventry engineering manufacturer, designing and building precision products for customers in the UK and around the world. They are growing their engineering team and need a Junior Applications Engineer. The role would suit a strong graduate who is keen to get stuck in. The role * Act as a technical point of contact for customers, understanding their requirements and recommending the right product * Manage your own projects from enquiry through to delivery * Carry out product selection and basic engineering calculations * Prepare technical proposals, quotations and supporting documentation * Work closely with design, production and sales to make sure customer needs are met * Pass customer special requests and product feedback to the design team About you * Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; recent graduates are welcome * Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with customers * Organised and able to manage your own workload and projects * Willing to learn and get stuck in * Desirable: transmission or driveline experience, a manufacturing background, SolidWorks or other 3D CAD What’s on offer * £28,000 – £32,000 * Early finish on Fridays (13:00) * Company sick pay * Sage Employee Benefits: retail discounts plus wellbeing and financial support tools * Full training and development * Pension scheme * On-site parking * Long-term career development in a stable, established business To apply Click apply to be forwarded for an immediate interview
