Accept Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HGV driver to work with a leading recycling haulage client. The role involves operating walking floor vehicles, transporting recyclable materials efficiently and safely, with potential for overnight tramping routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate walking floor HGVs safely and professionally.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
- Collect and deliver recyclable materials to customer sites and depots.
- Complete accurate driver logs and paperwork.
- Work long days, with the possibility of multi-day tramping routes.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with Driver CPC.
- Experience driving walking floor vehicles preferred.
- Ability to work long shifts and occasional overnight trips.
- Safety-conscious, reliable, and flexible.
- Strong team-working skills.
