Accept Recruitment is now hiring an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver on behalf of one of our long-standing clients in the waste management sector. This role is based in Leeds and offers full-time, ongoing work with excellent earning potential and long-term opportunities.
Pay & Benefits:
- £14.39 per hour base rate
- £18.71 per hour overtime rate (after 45 hours)
- £10 daily bonus based on attendance and compliance
- Weekly pay
- Full PPE and uniform provided

Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am start time
- Overtime available and paid at enhanced rate
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an HGV Class 2 Skip vehicle for collection and delivery of waste containers
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete compliance walkarounds
- Plan and follow efficient routes to support operational productivity
- Ensure customer sites are left clean and tidy
- Report any vehicle defects or safety concerns promptly
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence
- Full Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Previous HGV driving experience (waste sector preferred but not essential)
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety and road regulations
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
