Accept Recruitment currently have vacancies for Class 1 HGV drivers for our client located in Peterborough. The client is a market leader in agricultural logistics. The role will involve nationwide trailer swaps, 1-2 deliveries per day. You’ll be responsible for completing daily vehicle checks and keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customers’ expectations. There will be a driving assessment for the Class 1 driver on the first day. The Class 1 driver will be starting around 6 in the morning, working on average 12-15 hours per day. Tramping may be required.
To qualify you will need the following:
- UK Class 1 Licence (2 years experience)
- CPC
- Driver Card
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- No more than 6 points on your licence
