Accept Recruitment currently have vacancies for Class 1 HGV bulk tipper drivers for our client located in Oakham. The client is a market leader in agricultural logistics. The role will involve nationwide bulk deliveries to farms, sugar beet factories and quarries. The Class 1 tipper driver will be customer facing, required to speak with the farmers before delivery. You’ll be responsible for completing daily vehicle checks and keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customers’ expectations. There will be a driving assessment for the Class 1 tipper driver on the first day. It’s a tramping position for Class 1 bulk tipper drivers, starting around 4-5am in the morning, working on average 12-15 hours per day.
To qualify you will need the following:
- UK Class 1 Licence (2 years experience)
- CPC
- Driver Card
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- No more than 6 points on your licence
