Accept Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to support our client in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking consistent tramping work with competitive earnings and structured weekly schedules.

What We Offer

  • Hourly rate of £19ph
  • £25 tax-free night-out allowance per night
  • Average working time of approximately 40 hours per week
  • Weekly schedules provided in advance
  • Full onboarding and background check costs covered by the client

The Role

This is predominantly tramping work, with drivers generally commencing their working week on Sunday. Start times can vary significantly, ranging between 02:00 and 23:00, depending on operational requirements. Drivers receive their full tour schedule on the preceding Saturday, giving visibility of all planned duties for the upcoming week. All routes and schedules are planned in full compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and legal rest requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Successfully onboard
  • Pass the required background checks
  • Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Have no more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence
  • Have no DR, IN, or CD endorsements
