Your responsibilities as a Tech Value Consultant will include:
- Helping clients estimate the value of technology within their organisation as a means to reaching their strategic goals
- Staying abreast of industry dynamics and the impact of trends on an organisation, to identify and formulate the need for new technologies
- Building client facing business cases that project the costs and benefits of technology transformation or modernisation, while ensuring it aligns with business objectives
- Supporting clients with technology cost optimisation and cost takeout programmes covering all technology deployment options from traditional on-premise, cloud and SaaS
- Advising clients on how to accurately track current costs using industry best practice and frameworks such as Technology Business Management
- Providing insights and frameworks that help clients to make complex investment decisions that align to meeting their strategic goals
- Supporting clients to move their financial planning processes from traditional annual budget processes to multi-year investment plans that fund products rather than projects
- Supporting clients to establish FinOps functions for cloud spending that help with transparency and optimisation of rising cloud spend
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience analysing technology cost bases and providing optimisation recommendations
- Are inquisitive and keen to explore areas of emerging technologies (Cloud Native, Data, AI, Robotics, etc.)
- Have experience working with key technologies: cloud, data platforms, AI etc.
- Have proven stakeholder management and communication skills, leveraged to influence and persuade client stakeholders
- Are comfortable interpreting financial accounts and linking through to technology
- Can work across multi-disciplinary teams
