The successful candidate will combine strong programme direction experience with the governance, stakeholder and delivery leadership capabilities required to run large, multi-workstream programmes to successful outcomes, acting as a trusted senior advisor to client leadership.
As a Programme Manager, you will:

- Manage programme budgets, resource plans, milestones and delivery predictability.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Manage supplier and third-party delivery dependencies, including performance and issue resolution.
- Translate strategic ambition into executable delivery plans and pragmatic governance.
- Provide visible leadership during critical delivery events such as testing, data migration, cutover and go-live.
- Mentor and develop managers and delivery leads within the team.
Qualification:
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- Proven experience directing data migration programmes, including migration strategy, cutover planning, dual-running, reconciliation and data quality assurance.
- Proven track record as a Programme Manager or Senior Delivery Lead on complex technology-enabled transformation programmes within Financial Services.
- Demonstrable success managing programme budgets, delivery forecasts, change control and senior-level reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, able to influence and advise senior client stakeholders.
- Strong supplier management capability across technology partners and delivery centres.
- Experience shaping governance across workstreams including data migration, testing, change management and deployment.
- Excellent communication, consulting and problem-solving skills.
Set yourself apart:
- Pensions sector experience (highly advantageous for this role): Direct experience of Pensions administration platforms, scheme migration or regulatory-driven data programmes within a Pensions environment specifically.
- Understanding of Pensions scheme administration, member data and the regulatory considerations relevant to data migration in this sector.
- Experience of legacy Pensions platform decommissioning, dual-running and reconciliation.
Also valuable:
- Broader Life & Pensions or Retail Investment platform migration experience.
- Strong market relevance within UK Pensions or Retail Investment platform providers.
What's in it for you:
At Accenture, in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will have an extensive benefits package which includes 30 days' vacation per year, private medical insurance and 3 extra days leave per year for charitable work of your choice. You will join a collaborative and ambitious UK Insurance team with access to Accenture's global network of industry, technology and delivery experts.
This role offers the opportunity to lead major client transformations and deliver programmes that create lasting value for clients and their customers.
